Rain

RAIN

Rain was born in Edenia, and was smuggled away from the realm as a small child shortly after Shao Kahn's takeover. His father had been a general in the Edenian army and had been killed by Kahn himself, but Rain was too young to remember any of these events. Thousands of years later, he returned to Edenia and pledged his allegiance to Kahn when his life had been threatened by the extermination squads. He fought valiently for Kahn during the Outworld invasion of Earth, but soon learned of his true past from Kitana. Enraged, he deserted Kahn's army and allied himself with the assembled warriors. His loyalty came into question when he dissappeared during an exermination squad attack, but in fact he had embarked on a suicide mission to destroy Shao Kahn and prove his loyalty. His fate remains unknown, but his comrades emerged victorious, and Rain became one of the heroes of the new Edenia.
