Born in Egypt almost three-thousand years ago, Apocalypse has
survived through the milennia with the philosophy that only the strong
survive. He was the world's first mutant, and is perhaps the strongest.
He possessed incalculable strength, and can change his shape and size at
will. His dangerous skills placed him in charge of ancient Egypt, but his
goal today is the conquest of the Earth. His harsh Darwinian methods have
put him at odds with many of Earth's heroes, including the X-Men and most
recently the world warriors. If his plans succeed, he will establish
control over the world and cull out the weak, ushering in the Age of
Apocalypse.
