Sabretooth's past and true identity are a mystery to everyone. He
himself does not even know his real name, but he goes by the name of Victor
Creed. He is a mutant with extraordinaty agility, and a quick healing
factor that allows him to recover from even the deadliest of wounds. He
also has an animal side, possessing retractable claws on the ends of his
fingers and exceptionally keen tracking senses. His healing ability also
slows down his aging process, and it is possible he is over one-hundred
years old. Sabretooth is the rival of
Wolverine, and the two have fought many deadly battles over the years.
It is not known why these two hate each other so, for it is believed that
they worked together for the U.S. government decades ago, and Sabretooth
has even alleged that he is Wolverine's father. Whatever the reason,
Sabretooth will take any opportunity to harm Wolverine or one of his friends
in the X-Men.
