SHEEVA
Sheeva is a member of the powerful Shokan race that comes from the Outworld.
The Shokan had a long tradition of service in the Outworld, and the great
warriors Goro and Kintaro
had been placed in charge of Shao Kahn's armies.
Sheeva too held a lofty place in the empire, and was assigned to be the
personal protector of the newly resurrected Sindel.
Although initially considering it a great honor, she later believed it a snub
because Kahn replaced Kintaro with Motaro. Motaro
was a Centaurian, whose race were was the bitter enemy of the Shokan. Up
until that point, the Centaurians had not held much favor in the Outworld.
Sheeva immediately became suspicious of Kahn's motives. She looked the other
way when Kitana contacted Sindel and turned her
against Shao Kahn. She did nothing to aid the rebels, but did nothing to stop
them either. Her silent revolution proved to be vital to the defeat of Shao
Kahn, and Sheeva returned to the Shokan homeland knowing that she had upheld
her race's honor.<
