RETSU DOB: Height: Weight: Blood Type: Nationality: Japanese Discipline: Shotokan Karate

Retsu was one of four pupils of the Shotokan master Gouken, along with Ryu, Ken, and Dan. He and Dan were Gouken's least promising pupils, but Retsu stayed with his master even after Dan left. When Gouken was murdered, Retsu began to pursue the assasin, believing him to be Gouken's brother Gouki. His search led him to the World Warriors tournament, where he was soundly defeated by his former training partner Ryu. Retsu dissapeared after his defeat, and has not been heard from since. He never found Gouki, but perhaps he found his master alive and well again.
